Reflecting on the first half of the school year, I am pleased about the completion of our second phase of the Capital Improvement Vision projects at both buildings, the continued roll out of Otus personalized learning platform, U.S. News Best Schools in Illinois honor, and the many traditions within both buildings that make our school district an exceptional place.
With the support of our parents, alumni, and local businesses, the District 53 Parent Teacher Organization is able to provide Brook Forest Elementary and Butler Junior High with opportunities to enrich our schools' curriculum. The PTO invites our local families and businesses to join them as a sponsor that will directly impact our schools’ safety programs, educational field trips, technology upgrades, school assemblies, in-school and after-school activities, and more.
