Dear Butler D53 Families and Staff,
Beyond All Limits, we conclude another successful school year and I am so grateful for the return of the many celebrations, traditions, and milestones for our students, staff, and families. Thank you for your partnership and support during the 2021-2022 school year!
Throughout the summer, both Brook Forest Elementary and Butler Junior High School will be undergoing Phase I Capital Improvement Vision project work. You will be able to track progress through the Construction Corner as well as district social media channels. Both buildings will be closed to keep these projects on schedule. If you need to reach the buildings or the district offices, please use dedicated phone numbers or email addresses.
Regular and consistent communication from each school, and the district office will begin again in mid-August. If any pertinent or immediate information needs to be communicated prior to August, that will be sent out as necessary. The district will send an email the Friday following the June 13th Board of Education meeting outlining any further updates or notable action items from the agenda.
Our first day of school for students is on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. If you have not already done so, please review the 2022-2023 School Calendar on the District website.
