As referenced in Dr. O'Malley's letter to families and staff last week, Butler School District 53 has formed a Pandemic Awareness Committee (PAC) in response to Policy 4:180 Pandemic Preparedness; Management; and Recovery. This committee is an advisory group to the District 53 Superintendent, and activities of the group are restricted to non-authoritative recommendations. Review the charter of the PAC.
Membership of the PAC will consist of appropriate District personnel and community members and will further benefit from including Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from the following fields:
- A practitioner in the Medical Field
- A Public Health Expert
- A Mental or Behavioral Health Specialist
To be considered for membership, please complete the application no later than Friday, October 2, 2020.
