Registration for students entering kindergarten next fall will be held in January on the following dates. Registration for students new to first grade will also be held at the same time. (Current Butler District 53 kindergarteners do not need to register for first grade at this time.) - Wednesday, January 23 – 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Thursday, January 24 – 9:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m.
- Tuesday, January 29 – 9:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m.
Registration will be held at the District office, 2801 York Rd. Oak Brook. Please help us inform neighbors and friends. Children eligible for kindergarten in the 2019-20 year should be age 5 by Sept. 1, 2019. To register for first grade, children should be age 6 by Sept. 1, 2019.
Registrants are asked to bring five items to registration: 1) your child’s original official County Birth Certificate 2) One of the following: most recent property tax bill, home closing papers (within past six months), mortgage coupon book/papers, signed and dated lease with two rent receipts and building owner’s certification of the names and birthdates of your resident children. 3) Three of the following: current cable, gas, electric or water bill (unpaid with stub attached); vehicle registration; homeowner’s insurance premium receipt.
