District 53 Improvement Plan

Each year the district collaboratively develops a School Improvement Plan. This overview provides a framework and focus for all major school initiatives. Through the School Improvement Plan, the district can further its educational mission to achieve academic excellence, develop curiosity for life-long learning and to demonstrate personal and social integrity for all students. The School Improvement Plan contains two to three broad goals and more specific supporting objectives. Specific activities needed to accomplish the plan are outlined in the district’s Action Plans, which delineate activities, timelines, resources and evaluation instruments.
