Ms. Melissa Zaniewski

Bio/Education:

This is my first year teaching language arts at Butler Junior HIgh. In May of 2004, I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.A. in Secondary Education/English and an endorsement in speech communication.

I am very excited to be a part of the fabulous staff here at Butler. In addition to teaching, I am also the director of the fall play and the spring musical. It is a pleasure to work with such talented students as they excel to new heights in their dramatic and artistic expressions.

Goal:

I look forward to working cooperatively with all of my students and their parents as we form a strong partnership with two feasible goals in mind - academic success and intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
