Bio:
I am celebrating my 14th year at Butler School District 53.
Prior to working in the district, I worked in the banking industry.
I grew up in LaGrange Park and now reside in Westmont. I enjoy
spending time with family and friends.
Education:
I have a Bachelor of Science degree from DePaul
University. I earned
a business degree with emphasis in Marketing. I received my Master
of
Arts in Teaching degree from National Louis University.
Goal:
I feel that my students have only one chance at
being a fifth-grade
student, so I want to give them the best experience I can. I join
the entire staff in working to ensure that the students become lifelong
learners and responsible citizens who always strive for the best.
Why did you decide to
become a teacher?
I became a teacher to share my love of learning
with others. Everyday
in the classroom is a new experience. Everyday in the classroom is
a
once-in-a-lifetime-opportunity to touch the future. I am continually
motivated and inspired by the wonderful students and staff of Brook
Forest.
