Bio:
I grew up in the Detroit area and currently live in Naperville. My
wife is a health / physical education teacher at Lyons Township High
School. We have two daughters. Julia is in 1st grade and Lauren is
in Kindergarten. I enjoy all sports, especially hockey and golf. I
have been participating in marathons and will be running in Boston
this April.
Education:
I received my BS in physical education – teaching and my MS in sports administration.
Why did you decide to become a teacher?
I always had fun being active and playing sports. Once I realized the benefits that my body receives from participating in those fun activities, I started to consider teaching. It is important for me to help others experience the fun of activity while learning the benefits of physical fitness. That’s why I have the greatest job in the world.
