Background:
I was born and raised in Hinsdale, Illinois, and currently reside in Clarendon Hills with my wife, Beth. I absolutely love studying and reading about American history; it is certainly my passion, especially the U.S. Constitution. Because of my excitement about history, my favorite city in the United States is Washington, D.C. I truly enjoy spending time there, seeing the monuments and memorials, and soaking in all the greatness our nation's capital has to offer. Another passion of mine is technology and how it affects the way in which learning occurs within the classroom. Technology is constantly changing, which makes the prospect of keeping up with it extremely exciting!
This is my fourth year teaching at Butler, and have enjoyed teaching and learning from the students and collaborating with the outstanding faculty. I enjoy watching the students in their activities outside of the classroom and cheering them on, from basketball games to band and choral performances to plays and musicals. Go Vikings!
