Departmental Philosophy
The Butler Resource Department provides services based upon an inclusive delivery model. This practice is based upon a commitment to provide opportunities for all students to learn and interact with their same-aged peers within the least restrictive environment. Resource teachers, general education teachers, parents, and paraprofessionals work collaboratively to meet the needs of learners with special needs and other students who benefit from academic interventions. The LaGrange Area Department of Special Education (LADSE) provides additional resources and support as needed.
