Departmental Philosophy
The Physical Education program's philosophy is to improve individual fitness levels and develop fundamental skills for a variety of activities. Students will be exposed to sports and activities and are encouraged to participate for enjoyment outside of the physical education class. When students experience success in physical activity at an early age and are aware of the benefits of regular exercise and proper nutrition, they are more likely to choose an active and healthy lifestyle.
